Their insta said starting at 7pm at both locations - are they already serving? If so I might make my way home from work soon...

What's the avg price Pulse Wave is going for? I fear the hype train is driving the price on these higher than After Image. Heard $6.99 a can at one place. F. that.

Yea 6.99 is pretty ridiculous for a single can of beer.

To be fair, that's the price of SingleCut's bottles, which are also 16oz. But yea, both are very expensive, and it's more annoying because Grimm clearly doesn't want them priced that high based on comments they've made in this thread. But I'm guessing it'll be like this until the hype dies down or supply increases.

Things are getting nuts when the limit is ONE BEER! At 6.99 a can you are basically looking at $31 a six pack. I can only imagine our BMC brethren looking at people in disbelief who are willing to pay $31 a six pack and at that price only able to but 1 can.

I am drinking now, so I can be wrong, but lets give this a shot.

    6.99 / 16 ounces = 44 cents an ounce.

A six pack (12 ounces) is 72 ounces.

    72 *.44 = $31.68.

Yeah, I went to Covenhoven and was surprised it was 1pp. Also, I think they charged me $16 or $17 for Double Negative which definitely seems high (pretty sure the first bottle I bought two years ago was $10 at WF and last year it was $12). I'm glad to have gotten any at all, but this definitely makes me appreciate the OH can releases a lot more than I already do.

ETA: I still love Grimm and everything they're putting out, the hype is well deserved.

The beer is priced to be around $4.50/can at a grocery store. But if a bar is serving it for 6.99 on premise, that's very affordable -- you would be hard pressed to find a 16oz pour of good DIPA for $7. In NYC the style would usually be 7-8 bucks for a 12oz pour...

C-Town 28th Ave in Astoria was charging 6.99 per can, and 12.99 for the Double Negative today. This is a grocery store, not a bar, clearly looking to squeeze every dollar out of the good press.

Saw that on beermenus but it's down now. I wouldn't be surprised even at that price that they sold out.
I wish Grimm all the success so that we hopefully can all enjoy cans at normal prices sometime in the future from the source, instead of these ridiculously inflated prices.

I'm at Eataly now, they still have but they're running out. I don't think there is a limit but I'll find out at checkout. They are 5.40 a can.

Went to Gotham for dinner & they still had some! $6/can @ Cannibal in Gotham West Mkt. 2pp as prev mentioned. Don't know if they keep replenishing the shelf but there were still at least 8 left after myself & the guy ahead each got an allotment. Traffic is a mess, don't go down 45th for you folks with cars.
