So we are building our house these days and I am planning out how to grow my own hops. I have this idea to put old satellite dishes in a pod style formation. The dishes will be the old 10 ft wide alum style mounted on constructed 5" beams about 8 ft high. Thick of it like a mushroom. Running lines will come down from the dish about 5 ft out and 5 ft apart. Each unit will be used to grow a different type of hops. So before I got to far down this rabbit hole just thought I would throw this crazy idea out here to see what the Yodas of hop growing thought. Constructive advise welcome and thanks for looking.
