Good article for sure and it really highlights the struggles of limited release beer from a retailers standpoint!
"Another method we have explored is not announcing via Twitter and/or Facebook when we put these beers on sale. What does that accomplish? It allows people who frequent our stores to have a good chance at buying a limited beer." This is what we do with extremely limited things. BA Bigfoot, BCBS Cherry Rye,etc. No mention is made via facebook or e-mail. Sending out an e-mail blast to a 6,000 person list doesn't make much sense when you only have 1 case of something.
