Hey guys, recently asked about a Crowler sustaining freshness question and appreciate all the help, I'm also curious if I buy one of the liter glass growlers with the attached cork, and drink half, plug it, how long will that second half last?
Crowlers are what I consider for complete consumption/share immediately. Growlers are meant to be drank in 48h. Freshness-oxidation/carbonation really falls off after that.
Generally by a day after you've opened it up, it will have the carbonation level of real ale. Beyond that, consider yourself lucky.
