I've got a trip across the NE coming up in a few weeks. It's a family vacation so beer doesn't dictate the whole schedule but of course it's a big part. I'm planning to hit Other Half, Trillium, Night Shift, Tilted Barn, Bissel Bros and maybe a couple more. My question is do many people have interest in trading cans or bottles for growlers? I doubt I time it well enough to get any big new releases at those places but if I pick up growlers or crowlers, is there much interest from others to trade me more airplane packing or shipping suitable cans or bottles?

Can't speak for the other breweries, but you will absolutely be able to get as many cans of Trillium as you want. Trading growlers is tough, they have a shorter shelf life then cans and the clock is ticking every day as you try to trade them. My advice is go on vacation, enjoy the beer you can get, grab as much as you can and don't worry about trading. The beer you pick up will be as good as the beer you might trade for.
