Does Colorado (most specifically Fort Collins) allow brewpubs to fill growlers from different brewpubs? In Missouri, I can walk into any brewpub and hand them a random growler that they will fill. This is not the case when I drive into Kansas. What about Colorado?
I know Odell & New Belgium do. I'm sure most other places will as well. The growler has to have the government warning visible. Check out Zwei Bruder - very good beers out of the gate... love their IIPA.
You can bring any growler to any of the breweries and get them filled. Only place that doesn't offer growler fills is Funkwerks, but they do have a ton of brewery only bottles to choose from.
just filled up two random growlers this weekend. MOST CO breweries don't care who is on the bottle as long as your take their beer home with you.
notice his emphasis on the word MOST. their are unfortunately some dbag places that insist you use their glassware due to their egos being of large size.
