This bill is only worth supporting if they take away the bottles & cans restrictions.

Are we going to need a different growler for every liquor store as well:slight_frown:?

At least we could fill growlers then.

Yep need to take away the restriction on it, stores will be fighting with bars for kegs, due to the fact that a majority of non canned or bottled brew will be limited release offerings,it makes no sense to pass unless there is no restriction.

I already have close to a dozen growlers. I want a store, brewpub, or brewery to fill any growler I present to them. Although the increase of competiton for limited release beer may benefit the MN beer consumer (doubtful), this bill seems pointless. Why would a store want the increased overhead for limited profit? I am not going to go to The Four Firkins and literally fight for a $75 growler of BCS Rare.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that we have blue laws that prevent bars, breweries, and bottle shops from doing what they want in their buisiness.

    Free market my ass.

The "free market" is a myth promoted by Republicans. Every industry, especially one with the impact of alcohol, is regulated. You want free market, you're going to have to emigrate to Afghanistan. With that beard you might fit right in. :grinning:
