Anyone know where there is some fresh Grunion around? Never had it but I have been told it is damn good.Freshest date I have seen is the 16025.

We have some, but I'm not presently there as I'm pep-talking my liver before Collab Fest. It arrived on Thursday, though.

I blanked that collab fest. What store do you work? Think they would mind if I called and asked them to check the date?

It is damn good. My favorite hoppy beer from Ballast Point.

Ballast Point doesn't do case deals very often so most stores will likely have the same dates on their bottles depending on when their shipments show up in Colorado. I doubt anyone is buying a ton at once and sitting on it. Grunion is great though!

I don't get the hype. I get a ton of chive from it. Picked some up in lieu of new dogtown pale ale, what a mistake.

speaking of underrated beers...well, I guess we weren't, but what an underrated beer that Lagunitas pale ale is, especially if you find it on sale.

I heard from Lukas and Parker Payless that it is being discontinued.

Even though I totally dig their hoppy beers, the name of this one has permanently scared me away.
I can't drink a hoppy beer that sounds that close to "onion." Just can't do it.

God I was thinking the same thing. What an unfortunate name.

It's nothing like their other offerings. I get fresh chives from it, and I am not sensitive to onion-iness.
