The update the great taste of the midwest app on Wednesday. It will have a full list of what brewers are going to be there and what they are bringing. I would highly recommend downloading it now so it updates automatically for you. It makes planning what you want to try a whole lot easier.

The full program is up! I haven't read it but I'm sure I'll be overwhelmed by the options like usual.

So BVDL...unless it's actually just dark lord with vanilla. Also listed as an abbey ale.

So what is everyone going for at 1. BA Abraxas, Vanilla Bean Dark Lord, or Proprietor's? Tough call.

Protip: The best things at the Great Taste are rarely, if ever, things you have had before. Keep this in mind as you make your choices to wait in line for tasting Prop for the 20th time.

QFT. The ones we still talk about from past fests are not the DL/BCBS variants etc, but rather the completely unanticipated brews that were amazing. Brewers bring things to GTotM you can get nowhere else.

During the fest, ask people what discoveries they've made and pay attention to what other groups of people are talking about, to unearth the gems.

I think the app is still populated with the 2013 tap list FYI. At least my iPhone version is.

Per their twitter feed the iphone version is stuck in the approval process but android is updated. It's good not to be a hipster :stuck_out_tongue:.

iPhones aren't hip anymore. Too mainstream. Unless you have a wood case...
