Someone brought a 12 or 18pk of Guinness Draught cans to my house about 3 years ago. I moved them to the back of the spare fridge the next day and there they sit. Any chance there is a change to flavor as it ages? I don't drink Guinness, but use to like it 5+ years ago.

I don't think a stout like that would do well with age.

    Use them for cooking.

I am not an expert, but I would recommend drinking one to find the answer to your beer quandary.

I expect that these would have faded into a deep black mass of nothingness.

Since the thread was revived, I felt had no options but to try one now. Poured and looked exactly the same. Smell was not too different than I remember. The flavor is where the wheels fell off. The first sip was pretty bitter, as was the 2nd and then it went down the drain after that.
Now I have room for 8 more beers in the spare fridge, thanks!

Would you settle for a 3yr old can of Guinness draught?
