Guinness Extra Stout freshness code?

    Can anyone explain this to me? I was going to pick up a sixer yesterday but I could not figure out how old the beer was. That code is tough for me to decipher, why is this? I wound up buying a sixer of Founders Porter which has a bottled on 8/30/18 mark. Clearly stated. Bravo to Founders and all breweries who make it easy to know when the beer was brewed!
