Hi everyone, I had trouble finding Guinness foreign extra stout, around this time last year. I remember checking Grand Wine and Spirits in Groton, CT, plus the usual locations around the Westerly and Mystic area, without luck. Thought I'd put out the feelers before I begin my search. Has anyone seen this beer around? Thanks in advance!

can't speak for that geographical area, but i haven't seen the FES in 11.2 oz bottles solo anywhere in the eastern /central MA area, except, in the big box holiday pack, found at Wegman's but are also filled w regular Guinness stout, Dublin porter 3.8%, and a wonderful East Indies porter at 6%. Maybe call your local bottles shop to see if they can still get them.

Thanks for the info. I actually found it on Total Wine's website and it shows as available at all of their CT locations. I'll be in CT this weekend so I'll check it out.

I've Grabbed a couple holiday/mix 12 pack. Nice to get a 12 pack with all good beers. Agree the West Indies porter is great. My only complaint is the 11.2 bottles but at $12.99, and a $5 mail in rebate you can't go wrong

yup don't know why Diageo doesn't sell them in either 4-packs or 500-ml (17 oz.) pint bottles. It's not as if they don't have a strangle hold on the legacy porter/stout market.
