A while back an announcement was made that the good folks at Guinness were releasing a new Harvest Stout. I have been looking for it for the past few weeks just to give it a try. The thing is, I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone spotted it yet if so what did you think of it?

Must not have made it to the NE yet, thanks. I couldn't find anything on the guinness webpage about it so i figured I would throw out a question.

Cases of it at local store here too. No desire to try it though.

What type of stout is it being labelled as? Another Irish Dry?

Anybody care for it? Sounds like a loser. A let's jump on the craft bandwagon.

There is no craft bandwagon in Ireland. However, I haven't seen a single can of this in Ireland so maybe it's being marketed solely to the states.

Pretty sure it's an international company . Not an Irish company!

I got a free can last summer when a rep brought some in to a beer store owner. I gave it to a local I guy I know who loves Guinness. He liked it, but is biased.

Oh yeah, I'm in Minnesota and it definitely isn't summer here anymore. It ends at Labor Day. Leaves are falling.

Weird??? So many folks from the NE region have seen it and I can't find it in happy valley? Saves me ten bucks and a minor disappointment I guess... cheers! And thanks

It may be owned by Heineken, but it's still brewed in Dublin. I'm just saying I haven't seen it at all in Ireland, so it's not being distributed here, not boding well for its quality/appeal.

Murphy's Irish Red is all but impossible to find in Ireland, but it's still a quality brew.
