I'm trying to appreciate the entire Beers of Fame and tonight at my local liquor strore there were two options available to me:

    Current Gulden Draak for $12.99
    Vintage (2010) for $9.99

Both are bomber sized. Having never had this beer before is there a reason to not get the Vintage?

I think the original is better, but the Vintage is quite good as well.

You haven't had it fresh might be a reason. I would get both if possible; Gulden Draak is amazing.

Didn't know if there was a difference or if it was a marketing ploy. Getting both is not only possible but probably probable.

GD is my go-to dark belgian. Love that stuff. One of my first beers when I was starting to appreciate the good stuff. Its fun to do verticals, so I would advise to get both, grab a buddy, and try em right next to each other. Enjoy!
