Hi guys. I will be flying into Tampa on 4/14 for a wedding on 4/15. Staying in Gulfport and flying back home on 4/16. Besides the obvious Cigar City and Peg's, does anyone have any other places that are a must visit? Breweries, Bars or Beer stores? I can also lug a few bottles down with me if anyone wants to work a small trade. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
St. Somewhere Brewery is in Tarpon Springs, which is about 45-60 minutes from Gulfport, but is definitely worth the trip. On the way is Seventh Sun Brewery, another must. Edit: Your avatar suggests that you might be a music fan. The Ale and the Witch in downtown St. Petersburg is a great craft beer bar, and they feature live music in their courtyard. It's a great spot!
Thanks. Don't think I'll be making it out of the Tampa area. If I do I would feel obligated to visit family, etc. Any can't miss bottle shops in the area?
