Are these guys still making beer? The new Call of Duty is out next week and I want to stock up.

Super excited about the typical arc of this thread. Which is, ultimately ramps up for some reason, lots of hot takes and derpety derp comments, then deleted. It's one of my favs around here.

Do they still love Anthrax? These guys really like them.

Obviously, Jplachy is a noob who hasn't yet tried their Barrel Aged January 6th Capitalist Imperial Stout.

I heard it was a fruited stout made with sour grapes.

I just need a beer named after a WWII era firearm to enjoy next weekend. It shouldn't be this hard.

Colt 45. But malt liquor tasting was last weekend.

Don't think there's a Lee Enfield Ale, or a Mauser Dunkel, definitely no Garand American Lager or Moisin Nagant Imperial Stout.

Maybe Springfield has a brewery where you can sneak the name past. Or Japan may have an Arisaka Sake.

Nah. I think you're SOL. Best to go with some jungle juice brewed from boot polish, hair oil, and wild fruit.

You may have to go the home brew route on this one...or buy a gun company and rename the gun Dark Lord.

The funny thing about Colt 45 is that the National Brewing Co. used to claim it was NOT named after the weapon, but after a football player.

When I first read that, I thought maybe it was to cover up some trademark dispute or maybe the old BATF didn't like mixing guns with alcohol (what go wrong?) even if they regulated both. Then I remembered that the owner of the original brewer of Colt 45, the National Brewing Co. of Baltimore (and other cities) did own the local sports team. Oh, damn - that was the Baltimore Orioles. Wrong sport.

Say what you will about Colt 45 the malt liquor, but they sure made groovy clothes.
How 'bout Winchester Stout Malt Liquor. That was a firearm, right? Not sure what war. It was also a cathedral. (Oh, damn - now that song's gonna be my latest earworm!).

There is the UK's Spitfire Ale (That was WWII, right) but haven't seen it on US shelves in a long time.

Winchester manufactured some firearms for the military when the war machine ramped up, but that would be a deep dive for some GI to call his M-1 a Winchester.

    Oh bodee oh do.
Yeah, I was gonna suggest that, but any dogface worth his home front reputation wouldn't be drinking any warm, Limey swill while saving the world from fascist tyranny. Better to be finding a cache of missed vino like Willie & Joe.

Grand Armory Brewery in Grand Haven, MI had a bunch of gun related beers.

Not Gun Related, but that Nutter Your Business is a legit option. I also like the Wheezin the Juice a lot too. They have a nice place for sure.

Guncraft is leaving money on the table if they don’t do an Insurrection Ale and release it annually on January 6.

Maybe they are into the pastry game and want a holiday release with their Freedom Fighter Fruitcake.

There’s a missed opportunity to make a Non-alcoholic beer called Not Guilty.

I’m legitimately surprised no Detroit area brewery has done an ICP collab stout with chilies called Bang! Pow! Boom!

If both Insurrection Ale and Peaceful Protest Porter were released at the same time, I’m sure the conditions would be near riot-like.
