Just got back from Molly's. They have Hacker Pschorr Marzen/Festbier. Store says they just got it in. Said the best by date is 03/21, which I do see on the bottle. Does this sound right? 2020 Marzen/Festbier already in stores? I've never seen any this early in the year.
They show up earlier and earlier each year. If they're best by 03/21, those are definitely good to go. For what it's worth, a couple of the Munich breweries brew/sell their Oktoberfests year-round. Especially the burnt orange ones that are mainly for the export market. I wouldn't read too much into it if the date is good.
