    I'm wondering what other people's experience with HOTD beers have been. I just opened a bottle of Fred batch 89 and its the first one I've had that had been carbonated.

    Have had different batches of Adam and the last one I didn't find as enjoyable as previous ones. The smokiness seemed amped up and took away from the rest of the beer. Yet I've had batches that I've literally told myself "this is the best old ale I've ever had." Bummer

    My exact same thoughts on Adam. Recent bottle was a bit too smokey for me while earlier batches I thought were amazing
