Classic Future is a huge win. It's soft pulp with the right about of peel. Hop saturation out the wazoo. They've captured the mouthfeel without losing the hops in a sweet mess. Hopefully this become rotational.

Would you guys say the mouth is more like Pipeworks or like a Hop Butcher? My only complaint with HB is the mouth is a bit too, like, idk how to describe it. But NvUvH actually felt more like a beer to me.

Sorry if this is incomprehensible nonsense.

I've only had 1 can of Classic Future, and missed the most recent NvUvH release, but I'd compare CF to a fuller TG (when TG is on their game). I had a Double Grid last night and this is a nice variance. CF is more juicy than creamy, imo. Both are great though.

I think it has been then every year. GDDC is their usual Craft Beer Week release, BHA always seemed to align with my first week of summer away from school.

Thought Classic Future was killer, then the finish hit me. Boozy and off. Bummer, was so ready to love it.

Had a HC Galaxy right after and enjoyed that one much more.

Typically it’s second half of May or first half of June.

This was a great description and caused me to stop and grab a 4 pack. Had a can last night and really loved it.

To me, this is kind of the closest you can get to a NE IPA still tasting like beer to me, if that makes sense. It and NvUvH are my favorite NE IPAs I've had in Chicago. They have the juicyness we love with them but then also the IPA/bitter backbone.

    Perfect.

Drinking a Bodem outside while smoking a pork shoulder. All is right with the world.

Had a can of Bodem over the weekend, I like it as a year-round; as others have mentioned, it's a classically-Half Acre beer (one I'd get as a one-off at the shop), and at $10 + distributed everywhere, it's a nice addition to their lineup.

This sounds damn appealing, but I'm trying to stay away from lactose beers for a little while, as it's been killing my enthusiasm for a lot of NE stuff.

Lactose, souring, and mango? Hmm...

Yep, odd description. When I see "sour" I stay away, but I wonder if it is really going to have a sour taste.

I just assumed it's going to taste like a sour NE IPA, but with a little of the edge taken off by the lactose. So like a cocktail, maybe?

Now that I think of it, it sort of looks like a Mai Tai
