Slightly disappointed that Discount Code stoutember2019 only saved ~$10.

 

Confirmation came through literally right after I posted. It said on the info page that there could be delays, so I wasn't really worried. But glad its confirmed now.

In people's defense, Benthic releases are always a shit show, and online releases (the ones I care about, at least) tend to be pretty bad too.

I wonder if they just made a ton, or if the various options "split the vote."

Yeah, Option C seemed to sell out in 4-5 minutes or so.

 

Anyone know if there are supposed to be other one-off variants at the pick-up party, or it just the variants that were offered in cans?

 

Was also seeking to enjoy some bitching. FB seems quiet as well.

 

It was mentioned 'draft only stout variants' in their release details so I suspect the former. Sure they will post further details in the coming days.

Going to smaller size (16oz) means more allocations.

 

I think this might have been the most ideal release I can remember.

If you cared enough to be on-line at 10am, you got what you wanted. No waiting in the cold. No issues with the ticketing company letting you select tickets & then kicking you out.

Apologies, I was just being a smart/dumbarse there. Riffing off the fact there are so many stout releases this month. Code was wishful thinking on my part.

Excited to finally try these damn variants. Benthic's been one of my faves since it first hit, so this should be a good year of extra calories...
