    So I'm drinking my first Hallow and its like "I get it" but I'm not sure how it fits into the landscape or even my own buying habits. It isn't bad but the only thing I really think while drinking this is Half Acre wondered how they could make an opaque 8% DIPA but price it at $12.99 a 4 pack. This is the answer and I'm not sure the question was there.

    It's one of my favorite Half Acre releases in a while honestly. It's going to be my go to 4 pack from them for as long as it's there.

    It's an excellent beer.

    I’ve consumed so much half acre beer in the last 3 months. Good lord they are on a role

    Currently digging Green Branch. It’s got pronounced sabro but a hop butcher / Saint errant type body but i think it maintains some pretty nice half acre bitterness.

    My favorite hop brewery as of late that is in the city. Just behind brothership if we extend it to the burbs.

    Green Branch is a fantastic NE IPA.

    I'm not sure that's what they'd call it, as they've always been hesitant to embrace the style, at least officially.

    But if Hop Butcher / Mikerphone / More / Phase Three / Riverlands put this out and called it a NE IPA, we'd be crowning their asses, Dennis Green-style

    Half Acre has been putting out top notch hazies regularly since end of 2019 at a level better than Green Branch. Where ya'll been?

    I've never been the biggest Vallejo fan but I picked up a can based upon the rave reviews here. Man I know your post is said in jest, but it really is super dry.

    Not at all impressed.

    Vallejo definitely has Nelson Sauvin as a prominent hop, which does give it a little bit of a champagne flavor. I haven't tried this batch, but it was always my favorite of all the Half Acre seasonals.

    Nelson should give subtle white grape notes, this batch tastes like miller high life with grape juice added
