I don't disagree with what you're saying and looking at sheer numbers it's hard to dispute that a 61% YoY increase isn't dramatic and in any industry would be touted as ripping off the consumer. I do believe glass is more expensive than aluminum (though I'm not sure by how much) and, typically, buying in larger quantities (64oz vs. 22oz) designates a discounted cost of some kind.

Lastly, I know this isnt the first time double daisy cutter has been sold in bombers. Do we know the cost of previous DDC bomber sales so we can compare bombers to bombers opposed to bomber to cans? I'm really enjoying playing devils advocate.

If you're an ImBIBE member, they're only $9. The ImBIBE membership is a no brainer. I am stoked for the party tonight!

Half Acre has always charged a premium for bombers over cans. Has to do with their shitty bomber bottler. Remember when Daisy Cutter cost $7-8 a bomber compared to the $8.99 a 4 pack in cans.

While certainly not a fan of their prices, my guess is any recent (and noticeable) increases are probably due to the mayor's 60+% increase in city water fees. I know that I feel that in my wallet and am now changing my bath water every 5 days instead of my usual 3.

Galactic DDC was also $10/ bomber at the August 2011 release from what I recall

Best beer event I've been to. Lots of space, both indoor and outdoor, and huge quantities of food and beer. Hats off to Half Acre for a superb event.

That was a great party. Think I scared Ms. Half Acre, who was holding her daughter, with my short rant about enjoying the attachment phase because it all goes by so fast. But I just sent my older kid on the 8th grade Washington DC trip, and she didn't really miss us a whole lot...and I was drinking a while by the time this conversation happened and feeling sentimental, I guess...other than that awkward moment, great night.

I'm not gonna be able to list all of them but from what I remember:

    Pipeworks: Unicorns Revenge, Marilime
    FFF: ZD, Dreadnaught, Annica
    Haymarket: Mathias
    Revolution: Fistcal Cliff
    Goose Island: Sofie Paradisi
New Belgium: Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout

There was more but like I said I don't remember all of them. I'm sure others can chime in.
