We all require some sort of reason to shit on every single release that ever happens.

Geez tell us how you really feel. In my experience they have been nothing but extremely nice to me and all my friends.

Im hoping someone from HA is reading this, just so we see a thread called "Half Acre - Beer Advocate Hates Everything" and then....barrel age and sour it, to create the ultimate conundrum for fellow BA'ers

Guess I'm not 100% clear. Will this be sold exclusively at their brewery/brewpub?

Most of their recent beers have seen some level of external distribution after their initial release at the brewery (except Double Daisy Cutter and Guest Lager). I assume this depends on how much they sell through at the brewery and keg though?

as someone else said, most of these one off's are usually brewery only unless it doesn't sell out in a week or so then it hits a limited distro. I think that's usually how it goes, but this one has citra hops which is the other craft brewing buzz word these days (one third of the holy trinity of sour, barrel, & citra) so I assume it will be gone by the end of the weekend.

Between not being able to find Half Acre or Pipeworks, it sounds like you need to move to the city.

I find it amusing that so many BAs look down on vortex bottles, bowtie cans etc but get all high school girly over metal and comic labels.

And I would suggest if we take away all the soapboxes there'd be far fewer threads and posts on this website.

In case anyone is interested, this is going to be a SMaSH beer. All Vienna and Citra. Looking forward to trying it!

There's a difference between gimmicky bottle designs with no practical function and actual artwork.
