half acre big hugs

I haven't seen it out yet, but was just at the taproom today and they had tons left.

 

this will definitely hit stores this week.

 

According to the wholesaler, 50 cases were sent out with instructions no one get more than 1 case, so good luck.

 

Both, I was there on Thursday and they had it on tap plus a ton of bombers in the fridge. Great stuff!!!

 

Was at the Half Acre tap room yesterday. Big Hugs is still on draft. They had about 2 shelves of bombers left at the packaged good store, the guy told me that was all that was left of Big Hugs.

Looking to stop by half acre today...anybody know if that vanilla big hugs still flowing on tap?

 

It is not. It kicked around 4:00 yesterday.

Anyone know if bottles are floating around anywhere? The nasty bug that's floating got me and I never made it to the brewery. I would love to get a bottle this year.

I picked some up at West Lakeview on Saturday, so they're still floating around.

 

I ran into one today, too. Last one at the store, but more evidence that there are still some out there.

 

I'd look for Pipeworks' Coffee Break Abduction - maybe a little lighter on the coffee flavor but the body is much thicker. The finish was a little too bitter (like spent coffee grounds) for me, though. But, just the same, a very worthy alternative!

 

FWIW, I cracked my bottle the other night and thought this year's batch was amazeballs.
