Assuming it will go like lightning since a)every catch hell sells that fast, b) it’s triple barrel and c) their recent Peach BA stout was also 3pp and was gone very fast, so I don’t see their biggest annual draw going slower.

Sold out in 30 seconds. Clearly this was priced too high and craft beer is dead yada yada…

Yes, the beer gods smiling on my circle too with two of us getting 2 2 packs each. My payment glitched and CC was rejected but then I hit purchase again and it went through.

This week I bought a Side Project cinnamon stout at $50/12oz and a Little Cottage Cinnamon stout at $25/12oz so this was the biggest bargain of the week... I might have a problem

craft beer is clearly dead if you can have a glitch during purchase and still get the beer. Wasn’t like that back in the old days. You glitched or erred and you were S.O.L.

So what you’re saying is that Oznr has gotten better that the glitch was not fatal even in a 30 second sellout.

No I’m saying back in the day it would have sold out in 15 seconds.

Hmm. Back in the day it wasn’t on Oznr and there was a delayed queue for purchase entry where nothing ever insta-sold out. Or before that there was a blocks long line to check out through one of two POS terminals, so not 15 sec there either.

So, nah. It’s definitely what I said.

Anyone spot anything interesting in the cooler this weekend yet? My buddy is grabbing my Catch Hell today so I was considering tossing him some extra cash if there was some Benthic variants or something.

Was there yesterday. Had most of the benthics except 2x4. They also still had Bog. Can’t remember if they had any other ba goodies

triple barrel catch hell is ridiculously good as expected. I prefer to b1 as the adjuncts are still very present but with more barrel presence. Best BA beer they’ve made IMO. Excited to try the canned version

I just had a DB Catch Hell 2023 last night and I thought that was the best one they’ve made yet with the barrel and adjuncts playing cat and mouse jumping to the front of the palate. Had a dark chocolate macaroon vibe going that I couldn’t get enough of. My hype for the 24 triple barrel is now off the charts!

Even more new menu items available at Half Acre. Korean chicken, shepherd's pie, shrimp & grits...if you (understandably) wrote this place off as a dinner spot, I suggest you give 'em another shot.

    The Korean chicken was FANTASTIC.

I've seriously cut back on beer buying and drinking in the last few years, so my willingness to buy expensive stuff has gone up . I grabbed three of them and they're drinking great.

Well, it seems On & On: Part 4 is releasing this month. Interestingly, this is the first On & On release being packaged in 12 oz cans (in line I suppose with HA's change to 12 oz formatting for their BA beers but Rev still went with 16 oz for theirs given their DW packaging standard). And if my math is correct, quite a bit pricier than Rev's Part 3 on a price per oz basis. Equivalent to Part 3 being ~$80 instead of $50 fwiw.

March 13: Barrel Aged Stout Sale
    On & On Part 4 17.3% ABV
    Double Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

In continuing with our big barrel aged stout releases for early 2024, we give you On & On Part 4.

This is the fourth barrel aged stout in an ongoing, multi-year series collaboration with our friends at Revolution Brewing. Expect hefty, boozy barrel character running deep through this dark roast stout. This is a testament to allowing wood and time to impart layers of influence. Special nod to artist Matt Gordon.

    Online sale info:
Wed Mar 13 at 12pm CT on Oznr
Sold as 2-pack of 12oz cans
    $29.99 plus taxes & fees
    Limit 3 x 2-packs per order
    Proxies are allowed
