Yup, definitely prefer a quick store pickup to a 2+ hour line. I guess I'm in the minority

 

I tried Buffalo Grove and Arlington Heights Binny's locations. Nothing

 

This was in the city.

 

I sure hope they have enough for growler fills later this weekend. Would love to pick some up tomorrow and bypass the craziness with lines and everything.

 

I was there at 3:15 and it took 45 minutes to get in and out. Drinking in the Taproom already. Line is currently half the length of when I got in it.

 

Binnys Bolingbrook didn't receive any either...

 

Dropped the wife, kids, friends and their kid off at Lincoln Park Zoo then showed up there around 1:15, waited in line until about 2:25 (still had about 1 hr to go) but then had to leave empty handed due to the kids reaching their limit at Lincoln Park Zoo. The line seemed extremely slow and too many people had their friends & lovers, both straight and gay, meet them up in line and join - cutting in line is probably the worst part about waiting in line for beer but I thought it was etiquette for people to go to the line regardless. Oh well, that was the first time going to HA for a release and definitely the last. Too many hipsters/new money needing their "whales" for trading..

Cycled by around 450pm and there were still about 40-50 suckers in line.

Laughed and kept riding.

Sucks that you have kids. Also, thanks for posting this. My friends and I got a good laugh at your patheticness (not a word, I know. I just made it up thanks to you).

 

Most of the people I saw in line looked like middle aged suburban dads. I honestly don't mean that as offense but just saying.

 

Don't be surprised when that kid you lugged into a beer release line grows up to be a serial killer.

 

You quoted the wrong person fyi. I didn't mention anything of "suburban dads" or "city dads." Although, I am curious to know the difference besides the obvious geographical location. Is there a certain look, smell, fashion, etc. that one has over the other?
