Half Acre is Moving/Expanding

Sorry to thread jack but what's the release schedule/availability of finding double daisy cutter? Going to be in Chicago for the week before DLD and I'm hoping to find some but I can't find when/how it's released. Thanks!

 

Unfortunately you missed the latest release of DDC. Was released on March 12th. It lasted in the Half Acre store for a couple weeks but no longer there. Don't know if it hit limited distro but in any event it will not be around near DLD.

the brewery is out but not distribution. some hit last week and i think this week too. i picked up a bottle at whole foods today. edit: it was the last one on the cooler but they might have some in back.

 

So it sounds like Half Acre's distribution footprint has expanded a bit. Completely surprised to see their beer in the SW burbs today.

I waxed mine the week i took it home for just that reason. I wonder if it held up.

 

Let me know how it goes. If only I'd done the same. I was excited to open it but was bummed when I did. I still have a small animal left and worried it might be the same.

 

Seems to be hitting the western suburbs too. I've seen reports from various Binny's (DG & GE), Beer Cellar Glen Elynn, and on tap at World of Beer, Naperville.
