Half Acre Sanguis - Spottings?

    Has anybody seen these on shelves? I know that several bottles of last beer for Next, Horizon, wound up at stores. Help a guy out?

    I don't think any accidentally snuck into distribution, but I suspect Half Acre saved a few kegs for special events or possibly for growler fills.

    On a whim I checked the profile page for Sanguis: five listed Gots. Are people able to leave next with unopened bottles? This would seem odd.

    During the opening week of el Bulli, we were able to purchase 2 per person @ $15/ea. I'm not sure if they've raised the number since then. For during Thailand, I remember we were able to purchase 3 of the Horizons per person. I do remember seeing some of them on a shelf somewhere, so it's possible Half Acre would release some of the Sanguis for distribution.

    Yeah they let people leave with bottles. My co-worker went to it and said a bunch of people were leaving with em.

    Was there an open competition for breweries wanting the Next feature spot? Or was it just coincidence that Two Brothers also made a beet and blood orange beer recently?

    During Next Thailand I was able to buy 2 bottles per person of the Horizon. We got our limit, 4 bottles. I do know that near the run of the Thailand next run Half Acre sold beer bottles and filled growlers of this at the brewery, so hopefully the same will happen here.

    TomG snagged the last bottle from Printers Row a few weeks back and cracked it with me... I wouldn't try too hard to seek this one out.
