Not sure how I hadn't heard about this before, but I just found out that there's a new brewery (Half Full) in Stamford and they are just getting their first beer to market. As someone who works in Stamford, hopefully they take off ... Would be nice to have something in this part of the state finally. It's been way too long since NEBCO was in Norwalk.

I actually went to Coalhouse for lunch (pre-planned work lunch totally unrelated to the Half Full). Half Full Bright Ale was already on tap. I'm not an active reviewer but I'd say it has potential but was nothing special at this point. You can identify some kinks to be worked out (inconsistency throughout the taste is the best way to describe it), but was definitely glad to try it and can definitely see a future for it. Solid first effort for the first beer out of the system.

I was with two friends who are less into beer than myself and they both felt similarly. It has potential but was not a home run on the first try.

I'll tell you what. Connor and Jen are super cool. They have their heads in the game. If their beer is good as their attitude then look out for some great beers. Good Luck Half Full!

Excited to hear that some of their beer is being tapped already. I recall hearing that their facility would be opening to the public later this year, any other information on that aspect ?
