Half Time Shipping Updates (Lager Fest)

I cannot make that promise (that I won't drink any of the beers yet).

I am a beer nerd with a definite weakness for lagers.

 

Boom! Ain’t leaving the box for a while, so I’m not tempted. Digging the glass and poster this time around. Well done.

 

I'm locked and loaded! My box arrived today, ahead of schedule. Right now the beers are chilling in the spare fridge staying as cold as possible until a few days before the event, then they will move to the warmer beer fridge. Great job by Half Time!

 

Is that note for other family members or you?

Received my e-mail that they shipped, just letting any MA folks know.

 

Received my shipment this morning at 9:30am, so people in the Boston (Medford) area should check their front porches/doorways.

 

Received mine yesterday too!

It came alongside my protein powder order as well, and I thought I double ordered protein.

Lo and behold, beer! Way better than protein...thanks Beeradvocate!

Somerville here! There's going to be so much lager love in the Somerville/Medford area that weekend.

 

Haha, the Medford/Somerville contingent showing up strong again! I'm up in Beverly - beers arrived today and staying cold in the fridge. Looking forward to the fest!

 

Medford, MA seems to be the on-line beer fest capital of Beer Advocate. Maybe we should insist on a bulk discount next time? Hey @Todd can Medford get a shout out during the fest?!?

 

And yet here is central Mass it says mine will arrive on Thursday. I'll just have to satisfy myself with fresh cans of Fox Farm Gather while I wait.

Got my today down into the cellar until the 20th in no rush just looking forward to it/ Plenty of new beers in my area to keep me from drinking them before then.

 

Ha, we should set up a big screen somewhere for a local viewing.

I received mine earlier this wee. Shortly after arriving, I accidentally dropped one of my cans of Dovetail’s Baltic Porter and it cracked oven. After my in initial disappointment I was elated to enjoy the contents of the can.

 

I dropped the Von Trapp Dunkel, but it didn't open. Luckily if it did I can replace it easily.

Just don't drop the Urban Chestnut!

 

My box was delivered this morning by (according to my wife) "some old dude driving around with his chihuahua in a beat up Honda Odyssey." I think I will enjoy the beer even more so because of this.

 

Got mine. So much for “adult signature required”. Wasn’t home, but delivery guy just dropped package and left. Didn’t even ring my Ring Doorbell (which has video of this entire encounter). But all the beers are safe.

 

I was hoping to have a bunch of BA fest crew folks over, but that’s not happening now. Stupid Delta variant. (Too many of us have kids under 12, or older family with health issues to risk it, even fully vaxxed)

 

You could always go to a park and hover around an iPad. It’ll probably be fairly light out still anyways!

Whoo-hoo! My Lager Fest Willi Becher Glass arrived today!
I promptly filled it with dark mild
(Cambridge Brewing Co “Letter to Jimmy Page”, so tasty)

 

I hadn't heard anything from Half Time as of this morning. I emailed them and within 20 minutes the confirmed the beer was shipped and should arrive Friday (the 13th).

So, kudos to Half Time's fast and courteous customer service...

 

My beer arrived moments ago! YES!!!

 

The beer arrived a day earlier than expected and safe and sound...eager to try the ones I haven't had, but I can wait for the appointed lineup during the fest...

 

After the local shipping company lost (or drank) my shipment, Half Time came through with a replacement with two days to spare.

 

Still haven't received mine yet!!!

 

You can’t REALLY get mad at the shipping company for drinking them…
