HalfAcre in Ma?

This week, but it is only a temporary (I believe) drop in lieu of the CBC festival being in town.

 

This was briefly mentioned in the Copenhagen thread. Temporary drop to coincide with this event, and there's a takeover with the guys from HA tonight at Row 34.

 

Daisy Cutter and Gone Away cans dropped all over WMass this week.

 

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised the distribution made it all the way out here!

 

Someone mentioned half acre being at Craft Beer Cellar Belmont. Does anyone know of other liquor stores that carry them?

Julio's has (had?) some this week. Didn't see Redstone's post about it yet.

Redstone did get some Modern Times, as a result of the same deal with the fest in town.

 

Craft Beer Cellar Newton had Daisy Cutter, GoneAway, Navaja, & Pony Pilsner yesterday.

 

Daisy Cutter would be a terrific everyday beer if it were available regularly.

 

I hit Julios around 5:30 today and got the last 4pk on the shelf of Gone Away. Daisy cutter gone, stille some pilsner, and who knows what was still in the back.

Anyone else spot Modern Times cans? I haven't seen them pop up on any of the beer store twitter/ Insta accounts

 

Same at the Framingham CBC.

 

Vinnin in Swampscott had City of the Dead, Blazing World, and Fortunate Islands on the shelf yesterday evening.

 

re: Halfacre, Julio's facebook account had this reply to a comment on frequency of distribution:

"Unfortunately we do not know how frequently we will be getting Half Acre, but this is not a temporary drop, there will be more...just don't know when, we promise we will keep you posted! Cheers and enjoy the Half Acre everyone!"

 

If anyone is heading to Trillium today to stock up for the weekend, you can get your Half Acre at either Fort Point Market (right next door) or CBC Fort Point (on Farnsworth Street, less than a five-minute walk). Believe it was $10.99 for a four-pack at FPM, but they didn't have much left. Looked like CBC Fort Point had more left.

 

Downtown Wine in Davis Sq has several 4pks of Daisy Cutter, GoneAway, & Pony Pilsner as of today.
