My wife & I are going to Hamilton Mo. in September. She is spending 3 days immersed in quilts & I am looking for beers to drink, places to go, beers to drink, restaurants and of course beers to drink. Thanks for the advice.
Blue Sage and Frank n Tanks bbq are good for food. There is a brewery there, Levi Garrisons (I think) but I've never been. Might be worth driving in to KC one day
I am headed there October 6 for the same reason. Please post your findings. I looked up he Levi & Sons place and it doesn’t seem spectacular but at least I can try some new to me beers while my wife does quilting stuff. It’s a win win for me and my spouse!
+1 to Blue Sage and Hank & Tank’s BBQ. Went to Levi Garrison's before they changed the name, it was a nice place but half the beers were undrinkable. Your mileage may vary. It's an hour to KC, and also to River Bottoms Brewing in Carrolton if Hamilton gets too small for you...
I contacted Levi Garrisons & asked if there was anything for non quilters to do in town & they responded not much. I think I will bring 3 books
