Was there last night. The Norse long hall themed taproom is fucking killer. My family on my mothers side is almost 100% Norwegian so the Scandinavian feel really works for me haha. The beer was varied, unique and for the most part really good. Olaf The Stout was incredible, as was the smoked IPA. They could use a bit more seats, but whatever, I was there for the beer and was not disappointed. I would go back anytime, especially if someone other than me is driving!

Stopped in to pick up a growler after Darkness Day. Thought the room was incredible. Would like more seating but it had a very cozy and warm feel to it if the death metal doesn't bother you. Sampled three beers and thought all were good to very good. I think think the thing I like and appreciate the most from these guys is that they aren't there to brew the same styles that a lot of other breweries in the area and even the country do (definitely not knocking on local breweries with that comment). I'm a big Haandbbryggeriet and Nogne O fan and I can really see the influences that those breweries have on Hammerheart. Wish them all the best.

I got those influences as well.

I've been there three times, and the music was never loud at all. In fact with ask the crowd nose, I could hardly tell it was on.
It would never keep me from going back.
And I'm not a fan of that style of music whatsoever.

    Totally agree with this.

I didn't think the music was loud at all, just some people aren't into that particular style (not me personally). Must not have got that point across like I intended.

Stopped back in last weekend and was able to have Hail to the Dark Gourd, Black Cascade, and Djevelens Munnvann. All three were excellent, one of my favorite pumpkin beers of the year. Wish I was a bit closer, but a combo of Hammerheart and Surly in a night is worth the drive. I think we need to have a big heavy beer collaboration with Surly and Hammerheart... mmmm

It is probably my favorite tap room in the state, love that they are doing a lot of things outside of the box. Have always been a big fan of smoke beers, rauchbiers and metal. One thing I am not a fan of is assholes who tag the bathroom, that was quite lame...

What the fuck is up with dudes tagging bathrooms? Oh you scratched some archaic design on the mirror of a public restroom, you must be one hard ************.
