A few blocks of ice, chopped up into quarters, works good, too - just stick the keg in a cut-down 55 gallon drum with the "proper" logo.
    Just ask my Aunt Gladys.

I can dig Aunt Gladys' home lockdown style.

The Aunt Gladys 'solution' is good for an afternoon barbecue party but for an entire weekend binge the Polar Keg is the way to go!!!

"Keeps Hamm's drinking cold for up to 48 hours..."

    Go BIG or go home!!

    Cheers to the Polar Keg!

Reviving this thread to ask if Hamms is still being produced?
Kroger and Total always carried it but the last year has disappeared. Anyone know anything?

I just saw bunch of Hamm’s at my Kroger yesterday. I just looked at the beer finder on their website and it looks like they don’t distribute to Alabama.

It's currently a Molson Coors product (after being owned by Olympia, Pabst and Miller since the 1970s).

It's a Molson Coors product - most every retailer is going to deal with the local MC house. Ask your favorite store if they can order it for you. They'll be happy to as long as the local MC house carries the brand. No beer is just going to show up on the shelf if a retailer is unaware there's demand for it.

The line in the cooler for Hamms is currently empty but I have seen that before. It should come back. Unlike Rainier. That has been gone most of this year.
