I'll be heading up there for next weekend. Anyone have any good places to check out in the area such as bars, restaurants, or bottle shops? I know Southampton Public House is pretty close just curious if there's anything else nearby.

    Thanks.

It's pretty poor, grandparents have a place in hampton bays.

There's two bottle shops in town, one just across from the carvel right after the starbucks and king kullen on Mountak Highway I believe (27), this one is pretty bad.

The second is slightly better, it's right by the exit from 27 into hampton bays right at the light where the hampton bays diner/friendlys is and then on your left side.

This has a slightly better selection, nothing to write home about, but some decent bombers to be had for sure, grabbed a stone vertical epic 11 - 11 - 11 there a couple months back.

If you travel five minutes into Westhampton, there is a bottle shop called Circle M Beverage on Montauk Highway, right across from Jonsie's Restaurant. Decent selection, but prices can be high. I think I paid $19 for a FW Abacus there. Generally, outside of Publick House, which is decent, the beer selection in the Hamptons pretty much sucks. You need to hop on Sunrise about 25 minutes west and hit up Bellport Beer. A bit out of the way, but totally worth it.

I am going to agree with mocktm... Circle M is probably the best in the area, a little pricey but decent selection, prob best in the area.

If you are traveling the south shore the whole way, my faves are The Good Life in Massapequa, (great food & beer line up), Bobbiques in patchouge, (again, great food & beer line up) and as far as beer stores go, Bellport is the best in suffolk county (IMO). Stop in, ask for Dave, and bring your best beer geekiness. He might pull nout something special if he sees you are a true geek.

Not really familiar with the area at all but I believe I will be traveling the south shore the whole way.

    Thanks!
