Any actual word on when this year's Pugafest will be? I know last years was the first weekend of December.

I know it's around a month early, but I'm a planner and the holidays are a pain in the ass with scheduling.

The only thing I know is that Royale will most likely be sold through BPT this time.

It would be nice to be able to get all of the special releases through BPT. Heard lots of "horror" stories about last year with cutting and saw IG posts from people with 5-6 of each of the special releases that *were* supposed to be a 1 per person limit.

Will it also have a pick up window of between 1:15pm and 1:45pm on that one Saturday? I mean, they have storage problems, it only makes sense.

It was 1 per person per transaction. Hangar clearly allowed and had absolutely nothing against going through the line multiple times. I got 4 bottles myself and shared all of them with my friends. I actually haven't opened a single bottle at home just for myself, so I actually liked that idea. Nobody forces you to go through the line multiple times and you are also always guaranteed to being able to by a bottle as long as you're there by the time they start sales.
Just to be clear, I'm cool with BPT as well.
Line cutting, that's a different story. It really was horrible, so I'm happy that with BPT that won't be an issue.

The suckers were the ones waiting in that god awfully organized pour line. I laughed so much that they still were doing the frequent flier line while the pour line wouldn't move at all in how slow the two or three registers were going. You were a fool to wait in that line and not just go in the turnstile Pugachev Royale line.

If Hangar 24 did air traffic control, the skies above redlands would rain luggage in how bad they coordinate anything.

At least now there won't be bitching about certain alcoholics puffin up in the parking lot with fake medical marijuana cards and throwing empties of whalez all over the place. GET OFF MY LAWN, YOU DIRTY HIPPIES!

wasn't that one of the complaints? Ha!

This is why I love BPT. Only thing to complain about is your slow F5 finger.

I keep seeing people complain about "going back through the line multiple times." Ok guys...you don't like it...but don't pretend that it isn't allowed. As they have said multiple times it's one per transaction.

In other news I sure as heck hope the release isn't black friday as they seem to have hinted at in the IG comments.

Well that would definitely not be nice...but it would be an easy choice.
Multiple BCBS vs 1 or 2 Puga Royale.

FiftyFifty released a variant called Masterpiece at the party last December and didn't put a limit on it, even though there were only a few hundred bottles available. Someone proceeded to buy something like 70 bottles.

I think most people assume folks will self govern themselves and look out for the better good of the community... bawhahaha, yeah, I know. Not gonna happen. But folks like to imagine it could.

It really just falls to the organizers to put their foot down. But at the end of the day, Hangar doesn't want to sit on bottles if all of them didn't sell. For pretty clear reasons. If it's not an instant sell out, folks start questioning how desired it is. Silly, I know. But how long do they want to sit on product, especially when their biggest gripe is space to put beer for folks who bought into the membership.

They choose to just blow it out forgetting the per person limits. I think the bigger concern/problem is that they just decide to change the rules of a game while you're in the middle of playing it and only decide to really let half of the people know about said rule change. That eventually leads to situations where "whining" comes along, and let's be honest, that's fairly justified complaints.

At this point I'd be really surprised if they actually are able to pull together a barrel roll 2016 membership that is any better put together than this years. No information or even remotely close to seeming like there's properly leadership involved, let alone anyone to actually execute it.

So you basically never buy more than 1 beer of each type right? Never bought two same IPAs or two same beers from the Bruery? This is ridiculous. There will be not enough for everyone on most of those releases, so it has nothing to do with decency. I'd rather get an extra and share with my friends. Everyone has the same right and same chances to do so. So as much as I can respect your opinion, I totally disagree.
