I see it's a retired beer, but not too familiar with its history. I read that it was released for Christmas and New Year's in '01, but was it a one time thing or were multiple batches were released afterwards? Are there value in these bottles and does anyone know how to tell the year?
Actually a pretty nice beer, I'm sure some folks would be interested in trying it although I can't imagine it would land anything too big. Wish I knew more specific answers to your questions in terms of release. BTW did you see/buy this at cable beverages? That's where i got mine.

Will do! Thanks! I recall seeing this around the NYC area in the mid 2000's (bottles @ Spuyten were CHEAP), but they slowly disappeared into the aether.
Guys if I am able I will stop on Saturday and scope this out...I will buy the rest of them, if there are any there. I don't recall there being all that many on the shelf when I got mine but I could be mistaken. I guess I'll find out soon enough, it's pretty likely I will be able to make it over the weekend on the way to Mom's. Unless, of course, someone else sees this and goes there to clean them out.

No worries, no blame being placed. I'm glad to have actually come across a bottle– I just picked it up on a whim. And I'm glad Cable is getting some BA support– they're seriously the best in the area. I'm just wondering how to find out the year of bottles or were they all released in '01 and if there is any significant value for them!
