So, I'm fairly new to trading and was wondering what the trade value of Hanssens was? Thanks for the feedback.

The Hanssens beers are pretty widely available and generally don't hold much trade value. My assumption is you are talking about off the shelf stuff of recent vintage.

I'm a fan of their geueze, but after trying that raspberry last year, I will probably never buy anything aside from the geueze from them in the future.

Is there a way to tell vintage other than lot codes which are basically meaningless with out a key.

I believe there was a discussion about this recently with the long and short of it being that no, you can't figure out the vintage. Or was that another sour brewer?

    In summary:

Trade value of Hanssens = (0.60) x ($ amount paid)

Hanssens is decent, but pretty overpriced.

Its certainly getting there. I wouldn't say its overpriced because it is great lambic but its disappointing that I was buying it for $7 per 375ml just a couple years ago and now its $10-$11.
