Happenings in Casper (2020)

Not too much to report as I haven't visited a store yet but Dogfish Head packaged beers are scheduled to be here this quarter and I heard that 90 and 120 Minute IPAs will be amongst them.

So I was at Frontier Brewing, who are proficient at bringing in beers that are new or highly desirable. I saw the list and I instantly suggested Bell's Hopslam! Wouldn't you?

Looks like a mother of all storms.

I reckon that I will just drink some beer...

 

Some Dogfish Head packaged beers have arrived, including the awesome 90 Minute IPA!! Gonna pick some up tomorrow.

 

There's a bill in Wyoming that would allow a microbrewery to operate in more than 1 location.

So...there's no Harmony, Hops and Hope this year; it's probably dead for the foreseeable future.

A substitute brewfest is in the works, I've heard.

 

I just heard of a 5th brewery that will open in the next few months in Casper. We are moving on up!!

 

Well, re the coronavirus pandemic, it seems that the only bar in town that is taking it seriously is the Old Chicago. Constantly wiping down with a bleach mix, no coasters, no menus on the counter. Wiping the Buzztime play makers with the bleach mix before they hand it to you. Kudos to them!!

 

Places are closing down in Casper and elsewhere in Wyoming. It could be a long haul so stay safe, wherever you are!

Country Lane Liquor in Pinedale got beers from Cigar City in for sale.

 

Skull Tree Brewing and Gruner Brothers are offering beer to go so they should be good.

I worry aboot Frontier Brewing and Taproom as they don't and are closed for the foreseeable future...

 

Liquor Shed in Casper now only sells prefilled Growlers of 2 beers.

 

Wasatch and Squatters beers have returned to Casper but no Uinta?? My favourite Utah brewery??

 

Frontier Brewing started selling Growlers. Finally. I hope this helps them survive this pandemic. Btw I bought one of their Bitter. It's very nice.

 

2 new Melvin Brewing beers showed up. Me, Myself & Thai Hazy IPA and Triple Barrel Ruckus.

 

Founder's Imperial Stout showed up.
A collaboration of Melvin and Toppling Goliath showed up, in a sense. Vladamir Gluten, a Russian Imperial Stout. Liquor Shed got a grand total of 1 4pack split up.

Damn good beer though.

So Cowboy State Brewing in Glenrock posted aboot the first annual brewfest on July 11th.

I just don't see that happening.
