Happy - Hoppy Quad from Victory

You did judge it already. Not a single beer Victory does you like, so you won't like this one. It's already written in stone. You might not "get" what they do, but obviously plenty of people do since they sell a ton of beer and have hardware and a reputation to back it up.

This might be a flop, and it might not, but It deserves a chance.

 

I think this debate comes down to whether the Belgian classification is based on abv or color.... If it's abv then this beer is classified correctly, if it's color then it's not. To me it's seemed more abv

 

I'm far from an expert on what can or can't be called a quad, but I'm willing to bet it's nothing more than marketing. The smart people figured something called hoppy quad would move better than hoppy tripel or hoppy Belgian golden ale. I'm telling you, styles don't mean shit.

 

For what it's worth, I thought it was funny...lol
