    The 1st of May _is_ world-wide Labor Day (International Worker's Day)...not that many 'Mericans would know anything about it.

    And yes, as everyone else points out in Canada and the US our Labo(u)r Day lands on the first Monday of September. May 1 is May Day, which normally involves a bunch of Marxists (the few that are left to represent their discredited philosophy) carrying red flags and marching while decrying the evil capitalist system that has given them the freedom to demonstrate and the wealth to have taken the day off...

    May 1 was Labor Day (i'm a yank so the spelling is ok) in Nowray too. I spent the day making an IPA.
