Didn't see a thread started if it’s a dupe please forgive.

Got a ton of great beers from BIFs and BC day, we’ll see what’s up I guess, but I do have a bottle of Moët I’ve been saving. Won’t mind missing Pit Bull or that dork from American Idol tomorrow night. Might just fire up some Pink Floyd instead.

Its warmish and rainy, and I enjoy drinking and cooking, so that’s at least a crisp Celebration to start so I’m not crocked for dinner by popping a big boy. That would piss off the wife.

Might make some fresh French onion soup or something simple like shrimp cocktail to pick on, depends on my mood. Just a simple boneless rib roast with baked potato and a tomato salad. Just me and my wife in Covid jail pending tests, we both feel fine.

Happy New Year BA , and may 2021 be a hell of a lot better for everyone.

This is the newest member of the family for Xmas from my wife. Her name is Sady and shes a smart pisser of a Bulldog, a wee bit ornery too. She’ll never replace my beloved Otis, but she’ll be a good girl in her own right.

Lol, she is. My arms are covered in puppy bites and antibiotic cream, she likes my wife’s toes. Shes fond of climbing into the dishwasher and licking the forks and whatever she can reach. She’s got a Tude for sure she doesn’t like being disciplined. But she’s 7 weeks and she’ll be easy to house break, but learned how to do steps this week too. Living on 4 hours of sleep a night, lol. I’m beat.

Love it! Our pitbull is the queen of the house without doubt. Plenty of attitude to go with it.

Puppy bites? First world problems!

We’ve been looking at puppies as of late as well. Wife wants a Frenchie...

Happy new year to all! This site has been partially responsible for my most diverse beer drinking year on record, and that was during a worldwide crisis. Thanks to all who have helped in that endeavor.

My wife and I will be ringing in the new year tonight with some Chesapeake shrimp stuffed mushrooms, Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes, grilled asparagus, and baked potatoes with some wild ales or lambics to pair. After that we'll be watching the webcast of Phish's 12/31/1995 show on YouTube as we(the fanbase) plays against the band in a chess rematch. The band has won one, the fans have won one, 25 years later and this one is for all the marbles.

Happy new year to all. I would say it can't be much worse than the last, but karma has a way of saying, "hold my beer."
Speaking of which, I don't know what's for dinner, my wife is in charge of that department tonight. |I'm thinking over what I'm going to crack open tonight. I'm sure I'll be raiding the cellar, but I don't know for what yet. I wish I had my liver from 10 or 15 years ago, when I could drink a couple bombers of 10+% and still be fine, but I'll make the decisions at the time. Probably going vintage, but not sure.

Happy freakin' new year, bye-bye 2020, the year that stunk so bad for so many it will go down as 2020: The Asscrack of History™

Drinkin' beer from 2019 and waiting for 2021...

I am chilling down this beauty of a cellar pull, bottled on 2019 World Wide Stout.

Because of my menu New Year's Eve is pretty much a wine & champagne night for me, but I'm using a leftover 1/2 bottle of Hardywood BBA GBS as primer :grinning:.

Happy New Year everyone. I was away from BA for like four years, only reading from time to time, but never posting during my break. But then @Todd made a post saying Black Lives Matter after Mr. George Floyd was murdered and I couldn’t help but feel encouraged to come back. It’s cool shooting the shit with you all once again. Even had some civil political conversations along the way (I’m looking at you @nc41). Happy 2021 all!

Oh my god, she's so adorable!!!

I have a crowler of Dappled by Ocelot which I am about to crack as I prep some pizzas. I also have some Schilling Augustín 13° cans I will probably crack at some point. We have an Italian sparkling wine for later.

And if you're unfortunate enough to contact COVID-19, may your symptoms be as mild as mine.

Oh nooo... hopefully it’s no biggie, my oldest daughter is sick too, also mild. I’m negative, but I feel like shit , it’s all gastric, nausea, feels like last year when I had the flu. No drinking for me tonight at least, get well.

Funny you should mention last year. I had the same mild cold last year that so resembles what I had this year.
