With an hour mash, you've got what... 5 sessions worth atleast? HAHA.

Funny guy.. I'll also listen to some hardcore from time to time while brewing. I manage to bang and break more shit though.

Unable to get the brew setup into the garage one day during the boil. Kept thinking it was only a passing shower. Turned into a crazy series of thunderstorms. Kept on boiling and the SP 10 kept on burning. Called the batch Thunderbeer, and it was really good.

I once brewed when it was 115 degrees outside. Birds and old people were dropping from the trees. It sure looked brutal out there from inside my air conditioned house.

Maybe 10 years ago, nowadays I won't be ready to go again until flame out.

I once brewed in 60+ mph winds. It blew out my flame a billion times and was the biggest pain in my ass. Beer turned out okay though.

I brewed during Hurricane Isaac with no power. I have gas at my house so I brewed a 2 gallon brew in the bag on my stove top and cooled it with my wort chiller and a bag of FEMA ice. I wouldn't really consider it to be hardcore, it was just hot. What else was I going to do though?
