Off the top of my head I would say the Bruery's Partridge in a Pair Tree. It was brewed once back when they were just starting out and is pretty sought after since it is part of a vertical.

Be willing to trade you 3/4 of those. Do have a bottle of Warlock, but drank my last Pumpking awhile back.

Seven years for KBS. I didn't know it was a special release with limited distro until I finally got it a few years ago. I travel quite a bit so I would always look for it at bars and in stores while on the road. I had no interest in trading back then because I always found beers I wanted while traveling. Once I moved to Chicago I was able to buy a couple of bottles and learned why I had so much trouble finding it before!

For me I would say it's Dogfish Head "PoppaSkull". Its a few years old now and I'm not a very active trader, mostly in person stuff. I just flat out missed this when it came out and it was gone like a fart in the wind. Also you look it up and there's 87 wants and zero ft. I'm planning an excursion to Tampa to go to a Hunha day one of these years, ha.

Still trying to get a CBS, but those that have them for trade want your car, week with your wife, kidney, first born child, and a case of Heady for a bottle.

^CBS is past it's prime imo. If they ever make it again, do what you got to do in order to acquire a bottle, but you'll be disappointed if you trade for it.

For me it's Hopslam. Living in a state that just got Bells distro should turn that around tho!

This is kind of funny because I was in my package store last night and asked the manager if there was any Darkness left. He said he had three left, $24.99 each. I shrugged my shoulders and told him, "No Thanks."

To be honest I never actually went through Herculean efforts to find a certain beer. I guess I had the most trouble finding my De Molen nip bottles (especially the ones that only came out in 96 bottles). I do have a nose for sniffing out the occasional harder-to-get one, so except for my vintage Molen and Struise - which I actually hunt for - I just kinda get "lucky" from time to time.

Yeah, that shit is GONE. I had a small sample of it at a bottleshare once and I really dug it so I wanted to trade for it. I forgot about it, and then tried to get some like 3 months down the road and it had completely disappeared. Haven't seen it since.

I dunno if you're interested, but I posted a link earlier in this thread to a beer place in Chicago that ships Hopslam out (it's like $18 a sixpack, which is pretty standard).

(I can repost if need be)

Are you not a fan of Darkness? I actually was looking for another bottle last night, and would've gladly paid $24.99 for it (I think MSRP is around $20). It's good stuff!!!

Very hard to find find Narragansett Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout at a store in RI which makes no sense since its a RI based beer company.
