Hardywood is releasing Ruse on Saturday. 4 bottle limit, 4200 bottles were produced.

    From the official post:

It's finally back! Patiently aged in red wine barrels, Hardywood Ruse unites port-like qualities with distinct dark chocolate and molasses characteristics, while oak and leather dominate the aromatics. Ruse offers a rich mouthfeel with a deceptively dry, tannic finish

·There are 4200 bottles available at a 4 bottle limit per guest, per transaction. Bottle limit is FIRM while supplies last.
·Cost per bottle: $20 (tax included)
·Please respect each other if/as any potential line begins to form.
·Don't cut the line. Just don't do that. Our staff will not be on site until 10am. Bathrooms will be opened at 10am.
·Out of respect for those who choose to arrive early, we will hand out tickets to the first 500 guests at 11:30AM.
·After the 500th ticket has been redeemed, bottle sales will continue on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
·We do not know how many guests to expect, nor do we know when the first guest will arrive. But we're excited to find out!
·ONLY Hardywood beer purchased on site is permitted on our grounds. No trading will be permitted on site. ABC rules.
·Ruse bottle & draft sales will begin when we open for business at 1PM.
·Ticket holders: you may leave your place in line after receiving a ticket, but you must be in chronological order at the time your number is called or your number will be skipped & voided.
·You may get back in line AFTER you've redeemed your ticket. No guest will be permitted to hold more than one ticket at a time.
·We will move forward with these plans for Saturday come snow or come rain or come shine.
·We have a small staff of wonderful, dedicated people who will be serving a high volume of guests as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please be nice to them!

Bottle count is way less than the 6,500 they made for KCM or the 5,800 for Trickery. Good chance it doesn't make it through tour Sunday. Guess I'll be ISO since I don't see myself being able to get there on Saturday. Anyone know if any is hitting distro?

Nice, glad they made so much of it, seems like it will easily last through the day and people don't need to line up at 9am like normal (although of course they will :stuck_out_tongue:)

9am? Didn't someone get in line at 6:30 for one of the GBS variant releases last fall?

Someone was in line at like 5:30 AM for the KCM release. I guess there wasn't really a line at that point, but he put a picture on Facebook before he probably went back to his car.

2:30, zero line and it looked like a lot of bottles left.

Do they have it on draft? How is the beer?

It's on draft. Didn't get any on draft as I had a few beers at Triple Crossing. People were enjoying it.

    $11 / glass and $20 / bottle

Hopefully this isnt the start of a new HW pricing structure

Hmm, I may have misread it then. Could have sworn it said $11.

Ah, 11% was the ABV, that must have been what you saw.

I did not go today but had a buddy grab bottles and am confident that there will be a lot left today and even into the week. I think the turnout was far less than expected. He said the line was basically non-existent by 2pm.

Anyone been today yet have a report on bottle count? Debating whether to make the ride out there today or hope it lats until Tuesday along with the Veil release.

Yeah, it was definitely the smallest line I have seen for pretty much any HW release. I didn't mind at all, more tasty goodness for me :grinning:
