Harlem Shake LIF

Continuing the single bottle shipper LIF. I won a Bruery Oude Tart courtesy of cneville and now it's time to keep it going! Up for grabs is a bottle of 2012 Abyss. Anyone can participate, but please start your own single bottle LIF within a reasonable timeframe if you win.

On to the competition...I've been highly amused by a new trend on the Internet called the Harlem Shake. Basically, the premise is a 31 second dance based around the song of the same name. All of the videos follow this format, but the dancing itself can vary wildly. A few examples:






As you can see, you can use as many or as few people as you like, as long as the song is used, an individual starts the dancing, and two or more people finish it. Google or YouTube it if you want more examples. To participate, you must create your own Harlem Shake video and post it here by next Wednesday, 2/20. The video must involve beer and must not be too over the top like a few of the videos out there are (read: crude) or I'll remove it from consideration. Sorry gents, I have a few sensibilities as a lady . But make it as funny as possible using costumes/props/friends/dogs/whatever. If you wish to be anonymous, lots of people wear masks or helmets so that's not an issue. Remember, these videos are all pretty low-tech and shot in a couple of takes, plus they are very short, so it does not require a big time commitment on your part or any fancy equipment. Creativity is the key. The video with the most likes will win! Cheers, and good luck!

 

Should clarify, this LIF is open to U.S. participants only, including Alaska and Hawaii. Afraid I don't have the funds to go past that. Thanks!

 

Don't be shy, let's get some submissions! Who's going to be the brave BA to get us started for some Abyss? If we get five over the weekend, I'll do my own video just for fun on Monday, and since I'm pretty much the worst dancer alive, you'd be in for a treat .

If William's in this video, he's winning this LIF by default currently! Even if there isn't any beer involved, I'd make an exception . Two more days to get those submissions in, and I'm fairly certain there are BAs out there who have been too modest to bust out their stellar dance moves to this point. You've got nothing to lose (except perhaps a tiny bit of pride) and an Abyss to gain!
