A year or so ago I went there. The beers were modestly good with nothing that knocked my socks off, but the pizza was outstanding. It's worth a visit.
Was just there this past weekend. Nothing outstanding on tap. Their IPA is solid, and they have a barrel aged vanilla porter that isn't too bad. But yeah, the pizza is killer.
I was just there on Saturday actually. The pizza was great and the place was small and intimate not like most breweries I've been to in GR. We got a flight and their beers was pretty decent. Definitely hit this place up for lunch and you can't go wrong.
Pizza is fantastic...nice enough place. Small, very quaint. A bit loud, but it's got good personality. The bartender was super nice, the beer was pretty tasty. I'd say slightly above middle of the road. I will return next time I'm in GR, and I do recommend it to people when in conversation. Enjoy!
I've been there once and got samples of everything they had on at the time. One (their blonde) was downright awful, one was quite good (their DIPA), and the rest were middle of the road. I didn't eat there because I was going to Vivant afterwards, but it smelled heavenly of cheese and garlic in there. I was almost tempted to eat there even though Vivant is pretty much my favorite restaurant ever.
In town for few days. I took your lead and ate at Vivant which was outstanding. Harmony maybe tomorrow nite with a night cap at Founders. Thanks
Beer is good, but not earth shattering and pizza very good as well. One of my GR favs....and so close to Vivant. Eat here and then go to Vivant (unless the beer styles and fancy food are more your thing then just go to Vivant).
Had a flight of samplers and an appetizer, nothing really stood out to me. Would not visit again if I ever roadtrip to Grand Rapids again
Agree all around. Beer is not all that great. Their IPA's could use some restructuring specifically. But drinkable none the less. On the other hand, the pizza is amazing.
