I think Triticus was their best beer by far, and they decided to go with Bronze King over re-releasing it. At least that's what the tour guide lady said

Don't do it, man...I had a glass of this the other day and could barely choke it down. Not good.

Eh, ok but cherry was too artificial - tasting for me. When it comes to cherry there's a fine line to cough syrup.

Every limited release or leviathan beer that is not Red Squared upsets me. It's been too long!

Well I liked it. Seems like a decent dessert beer to me. The artifical cherry/cough syrup thing I can sorta get that but Im not having any problems choking it down. Its nowhere as bad as Shipyard Mint Chocoloate Stout. Im sure they use real cherries/cherry juice so I dont know how they could taste artificial.

I would be a harsher judge, since I don't like cherries at all but like cherry - flavored stuff (if that makes any sense!) Like I said average to my tastes, not a drain pour as others have done but I would not seek it out again.

I've been a big Harpoon fan but that's a good way to lose a lot of my dollars. They usually have good beers amongst their pilot taps, but I only make it to the brewery every so often.

Harpoon rebranded/repackaged the Leviathan IPA, so I assumed they would follow with the other Leviathan releases. But correct, if they have not commenced with the other selections by now...

Leviathan series is gone. IPA is the only one remaining. And that's why they changed the packaging for it - to get away from Leviathan line and to look more Harpoon-ish. Leviathan series is replaced by this Imperial (?) series: first - Bronze King, now - Black Forest.
