    Didnt see the word 'hoppy' when I grabbed it so I was expecting it to taste similar to an Oktoberfest but its indeed a mediumly hopped amber ale. Its a good fall beer alternative IMO.

    Nice. We just got Harpoon in AZ finally so I will look for this.

    Picked up a six-pack when I saw them in the store 2 weeks ago, and ended up getting another 12-pack of cans a few days later. Solid alternative to the rest of the fall malt bomb seasonals (not that I mind that either).

    I love hoppy red ales in the fall. I miss Sierra Nevada's Flipside Red IPA, the Hoppy Red is my favorite from Samuel Adams fall pack, and of course, I look forward to Celebration Ale every year.

    Just trying it today - agree, a nice beer. One of the best Harpoon offerings I've had in many years.
