    Hey all,

I sent an e-mail to Harriet with these questions a while back but didn't get an answer, so looking for some BA help! Does anyone know:
    - What time they start charging the $6 cover charge on Fridays like tomorrow?
    - What time the food truck (in this case, Tollefson's pork) typically shows up on Friday.

I want to show up for the pork and probably drag my nephew along, but don't want to pay the cover.

Thanks in advance for any clues!

You should be able to buy pork without entering with the cover charge.

But asking to enter without paying their cover charge is probably why they didn't respond to you...

I think he wants to know when the cover charge starts. Like, they're not going to charge him $6 at 4pm.

The show starts at 7pm, I'm not sure what their policy is (ie, do they evacuate the taproom and everyone has to pay to reenter or just start charging folks at, say, 6pm).

They start charging just before the show (I think within an hour?). If you're in before they start charging cover, you're fine unless you want to leave and come back.

I'm sure if you just explain how much more important $6 is to you than the band or staff or whatever they'll totally understand, because obviously everything is about you.

Man. That is one hell of a helpful reply. The OP doesn't want to pay a cover to see some random shitty band. He's asking a legitimate question not to try to weasel out of paying the cover, but to not have to pay because he clearly isn't interested in seeing them. Personally, I can relate. I don't go places with covers unless I know who the band is because they are mostly terrible. If I can avoid the cover at somewhere I want to go, I go at that time and leave when the band starts. No need for snarky responses.

They are charging a $6 cover today, and I would assume other Fridays as well. And just to clarify three points:
    - I do understand the food truck is outside, but one of course needs to wash the pork down with something :-) which involves going in.
    - It is not all about me. I'm asking the question so I don't have to go there and insist it's all about me. They define their rules and covers. They can charge whatever they want whenever they want. I can choose to go or not go. If I go, I will obey their rules.
    - I actually don't know if the band is good or bad, but I don't expect to be there long, and probably won't even be there when the band starts.

Thanks to those with constructive thoughts, and especially GeezLynn!
